Tara Stark
Tara’s love of Danes started the moment she was born. Her parents had a Great Dane, Shevis, that was around when she was born, and it was love at first sight. When she turned 9, her parents bought her her very own Great Dane, Scarlett, as a birthday present. The rest, as they say, is history!
Since that day, she has never been without a Dane in her life. While her first danes were just beloved members of her family, during college Tara became curious and began researching Danes more diligently.
It wasn't long before her curiosity and her love of the breed led her into the AKC conformation ring. Halo (Simply Sublime's Ring of Fire) was her first real show dog, and even though she did not finish her championship, she retired with 9 points, including 1 Major. Halo is the grandmother of Tara’s first Champion, Crush (CH Chanoz SS Too Many Girls), who finished with back-to-back Majors, all owner-handled by Tara herself.
Tara currently lives in New Hampshire with her two daughters, as well as CH Crush, CH Burton, Aggro, & Glitch.
